ABOUT

Weird, strange, different, eccentric are names that I have been called all my life and being called those names really bothered me. I felt isolated.  I felt that I didn't fit in and I withdrew into myself.  About 15 years ago, I woke up one morning a changed woman.  Being different meant that I wasn't boring, I was unique, I stood out and I stopped caring how I was viewed by others.   What was important to me was how I viewed myself, so I embraced my uniqueness and I let go of all of my insecurities.  I accepted myself for who I was.  As a result, my confidence grew and it was at that point that I realised that I loved myself more than the need to conform to how others viewed me and I was finally free to be me.

So, to all of you who feel a little insecure about yourself and who may lack the confidence to be who you are, why put boundaries on yourself?  Why hide who you are?  I am proud that I am different.  I love that I am different.  I embrace my uniqueness - I like different and that is how I Want That Bag! was born.  When people look at the bags, they see one thing, I want them to look deeper and see what I see - different.
